Carnival — «Murgas Contest» at the Víctor Jara Theater, Santa Lucía de Tirajana, Gran Canaria.
On Sunday, March 8, the Víctor Jara Theater in Santa Lucía de Tirajana hosts its traditional Murgas Contest as part of the activities for Carnival 2026.
Different local groups and formations will take to the stage to review their lyrics full of social criticism and humor.
Access is completely free and advance invitations can be collected online. Please reserve only the seats that will ultimately be occupied.
