Carnival – Program of the Carnival in Love of Santa Brígida, Gran Canaria, on February 13:

The Santa Brígida City Council celebrates its Carnival in Love on the days February 13, 14 and 15 with an edition dedicated to love due to its coincidence with Valentine's Day, because during those days love is in the air and becomes the common thread of the program.

• The festivities kick off on Friday, 13 with the educational sector taking center stage. From 10:00 AM, the Carnival parades of the Educational Centers will fill the town center with music and costumes, with the participation of CEIP Sataute and the IES Santa Brígida.
• At 12:00 PM, the neighborhood of The Watchtower will host its own Carnival parade, in which the CEIP Illera de la Mora and the IES La Atalaya, highlighting the involvement of the school community in the cultural life of the municipality.
• That same day, starting at 5:00 PM, tradition will once again take center stage with the activity To ask for little eggs, a custom full of nostalgia that highlights the living memory of old carnival celebrations. In this activity, families linked to Stories with chocolate, who will visit homes and businesses of the municipality dressed in their mascarita costumes.
• Friday's day will conclude at 7:00 PM with a large-format cultural proposal: the performance of the show Sugar, led by Comedians of the Green Gadget. A show full of music, dance, and participatory fun designed for the enjoyment of the whole family.
