One of the most amusing and anticipated scenes of the Carnival is that of the disconsolate widows, who, amidst tears, laughter, and much cheekiness, bid farewell to Don Carnal in the traditional burning of the sardine. But before saying the final goodbye, it's time to cover 3.5 kilometers of pure fun in the Widows' Race, a lighthearted event, without haste and without a competitive spirit.

Here it doesn't matter if you run, walk, or put on a catwalk parade, and neither does the costume! You can come as a classic widow, clown, pirate, astronaut, or simply however you like, the important thing is to enjoy the route with good humor and a carnival spirit. Come on and experience a farewell to Don Carnal as he deserves, with joy and lots of energy!
