Talk – Appointment with the Santa Brígida Urban Agenda
Talk – Meeting with the Santa Brígida Urban Agenda, at the Santa Brígida Youth Space, Gran Canaria.
The Santa Brígida City Council, through the Department of Citizen Participation led by Adrián García Armas, has launched the strategic process for the development of the Urban Agenda, a tool that will serve as a roadmap to guide the municipality's development over the next decade.
Having this strategic planning will facilitate the City Council's access to external funding, both from European and state funds, which is essential to promote improvement projects in priority areas such as housing, economic revitalization, protection of the natural environment, and social cohesion.
In-person meeting
Within the participatory calendar, an in-person meeting has been scheduled for next Saturday, May 9, at 11:00 AM, at the Santa Brígida Youth Space, where attendees will be able to discuss ideas and submit their contributions. Those interested in attending can confirm their participation via email: hola@wtsb.es
Likewise, citizen proposals can now be submitted through the QR code enabled on the official posters.
The Urban Agenda is not just a technical document, but a commitment to a model of ordered, sustainable, and people-centered growth. Therefore, throughout the process, different participation mechanisms will be enabled so that residents, groups, and associations can validate the lines of action.
For the development of this process, the City Council has the technical collaboration and support of specialized entities such as Taller Ecosocial Hábitat4 Coöp, a benchmark in architecture, urbanism, and sustainability, and the WTSB Neighborhood Cooperation Agency. .
