#arucasparticipa #Arucas begins its journey to become a Child-Friendly City. First Participatory Table invites children, young people, and adults to collaborate on the diagnosis and planning of child well-being.

The City Council promotes a space for dialogue to listen, value, and build an environment that promotes the rights of children and adolescents.

The Arucas City Council has launched the process to transform into a Child-Friendly City, an initiative promoted by UNICEF which aims to strengthen the well-being and rights of children and adolescents. This project seeks to ensure that the voice of children is present in decisions that directly impact their daily lives.

With this purpose, the entire population —children, youth, adults, and seniors— is invited to participate in the First Participatory Table, dedicated to developing the Diagnosis and Plan for Childhood and Adolescence of the municipality. The involvement of all attendees is essential to imagine and build an urban environment that cares for, listens to, and values children.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Bañaderos Multi-purpose Building (Citizens' Table).

The invitation is open to the entire neighborhood, with the aim of fostering an enriching and collaborative dialogue that strengthens the comprehensive development of the youngest.
