The city welcomes David Uclés next Monday, May 4, at 19:00 hours, at the Jesús Arencibia Cultural Space. The multifaceted writer will chat with journalist Nora Navarro at the literary event presented as «The art of inventing realities».

The City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria promotes an encounter with one of the most impactful authors of recent times thanks to outstanding works such as La península de las casas vacías published by Ediciones Siruela (2025) and which has earned him numerous recognitions and distinctions. Also his previous works, El llanto del león (2019, Ediciones Complutense) and Emilio y Octubre (2020, Editorial Dos Bigotes) certified the relevance of an authorship that this year has received the Nadal Prize for La ciudad de las luces muertas (2026, Ediciones Destino).

Admission will be free until the 350-seat capacity of the Auditorium of the Tamaraceite Cultural Space is reached.
