Talk — «Knowledge Encounters: Water is life» at the Pancho Guerra Cultural Center, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Gran Canaria.

Within the framework of the Knowledge Encounters cycle: from sea to summit, an opportunity opens up to dialogue and delve into water management and debate whether it is a commodity or a privilege.

The day will feature presentations by Mª del Carmen Cabrera Santana, ULPGC lecturer; Pedro Pablo Mejías Ramírez, from the Hoya Grande Irrigation Community; and José Chirivella Guerra, from the Insular Water Council.

To conclude the afternoon, a snack with local products will be offered. This event is promoted by the Insular Institute for the Integrated Management of World Heritage and the Biosphere Reserve of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria as a meeting space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
