Reading Club El Patio: shared readings and banner workshop at the House of Culture of Tamaraceite, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

This Tuesday, June 16, at 6:30 p.m., we will meet at the House of Culture of Tamaraceite for a new session of the Reading Club El Patio. Activity open to all audiences.

On this occasion, we will dedicate the meeting to sharing readings and reflections on two issues that permeate our lives and our neighborhoods: the right to housing and LGTBIQ+ realities. You can bring any text you want to share: an essay, an article, a poem, a story, a research paper, or your own text. It is not necessary to have read anything beforehand; the important thing is to meet, listen to each other, and think together.

In addition, we will carry out a collective banner workshop to prepare our participation in the upcoming mobilizations. Bring your readings, your ideas, and your desire to create.

Free and open admission. Activity open to all audiences.

Upcoming dates for our banners: Saturday, June 20, 12:00 p.m., Mobilization for the Right to Housing in Parque del Canódromo (Schamann); Saturday, June 27, LGTBI+ Pride 2026 under the slogan Where the air is free.

Because defending dignified housing and a life free from discrimination is also about building community.
