Concert – Longing
Anhelo Concert at the Vermouth Session of Talleres Palermo, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Anhelo's musical proposal is intimate, where each piano note and each silence tell a story that invites the listener to reflection and to connect with their emotions. It explores vulnerability and introspection as drivers of human relationships.
His music, inspired by the ancestors of minimalism and contemporary music, is very personal. Hailing from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, this young composer and pianist explores sound textures and plays with the nuances of sound, developing along paths of simplicity, and starting from the heart to connect with the deepest parts of our lives.
Each concert, which approaches a ceremony of sound, becomes an immersive space where nostalgia and dreams are the protagonists. Moments of pure authenticity emerge, in which the author opens a crack into his soul through which the moments that have inspired the works escape.
In Nostalgia (2024) and Poemario (2025), two repertoires coexist, created in the same space, on the same early morning, recorded using a cloth as a mute. Thus considering these pieces as sisters, born from the same nocturnal mother.
Anhelo shows us the secrets of life and its mysteries, which he shares with listeners who experience the journey with him, inviting the listener to be the protagonist of their own journey, through simple paths towards the emotions they live with every day.
