Concert — «Funeral Jazz in Guanarteme»

Concert — Funeral Jazz at the Old Guanarteme Cinema, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Meeting point: Old Guanarteme Cinema (C/ Fernando Guanarteme nº 163).

We will visit different points in the neighborhood to make visible the impact of the PGOU on our homes, spaces, and way of life, accompanied by live jazz music. We will finish in Plaza del Pilar with a symbolic funeral for the loss of our neighborhood.

The entire action will be recorded as part of an audiovisual project on the memory and transformation of Guanarteme.

We invite the entire community to participate:
– coming in mourning
– bringing banners, flowers or messages
– being part of this collective action

Afterwards we will share refreshments at the La Ventana Garden (C/ Lepanto nº 56).

Dress in mourning.
