This Christmas, the Cuyás Theater fills with rhythm, elegance, and joy with “The Queen of Swing”, a unique show that unites the Gran Canaria Big Band with the incomparable Gunhild Carling, the Swedish artist considered one of the great figures of international jazz.

Under the artistic direction of Chano Gil, this event promises a night of vibrant music and contagious energy. Carling, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and dancer, dazzles with her talent and charisma playing trombone, trumpet, flute, piano, bagpipes, or drums —sometimes several at the same time—. Her style combines improvisation, humor, and the most authentic swing, evoking the spirit of 1920s cabarets and 1940s jazz.
