“Herederos del Atlántico” is a musical show conceived as a unique meeting between some of the most representative voices of the current Canarian scene. Under the musical direction of David Duque, the concert offers a sound journey through the identity of the islands, fusing tradition and contemporary sensibility. The repertoire pays homage to the cultural roots of the archipelago, evoking collective memory through timples, strings, choral arrangements, and careful musical production.
In this edition, the stage brings together three reference performers: Héctor González (Tenerife), Jesús Monzón (Gran Canaria), and Pedro Manuel Afonso (Gran Canaria). Their voices, with their own styles and nuances, intertwine to offer an emotional concert that celebrates the musical legacy of the Canary Islands and projects its identity into the future. “Herederos del Atlántico” is not just a recital, but an experience that connects generations through music and islander feeling.
Héctor González (Tenerife): A singer from Tenerife with a solid career linked to Canarian popular music. His voice stands out for its interpretive warmth and respect for tradition, participating in multiple musical projects, festivals, and stage productions within the archipelago. Throughout his career, he has combined traditional repertoire with contemporary proposals, consolidating himself as one of the most recognizable performers of his generation.
Jesús Monzón (Gran Canaria): A vocalist from Gran Canaria with extensive experience in the field of root music. He has been part of groups and projects dedicated to the dissemination of Canarian folklore, contributing a powerful and versatile voice.
