Concert – LAIV (Leonardo Segovia)
Concert by LAIV (Leonardo Segovia) within the Festival en Conexión, at the Sala Insular de Teatro, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The Festival en Conexión returns, the eleventh edition of FEX lands at the Sala Insular de Teatro with the aim, as every year, of fostering creativity and the experience of living through music. An event whose objective since its birth in 2014 is to support the generation of cultural fabric on the island of Gran Canaria through music.
The FEX25 program will consist of two musical residencies led by saxophonist Alba Gil Aceytuno and producer Leonardo Segovia. From November 10 to 22, the SIT will once again become a musical laboratory where both artists will generate new creations, taking advantage of a unique space such as the Sala Insular de Teatro.
Saturday, November 22, 7:30 p.m.:
LAIV, The emotional atmospheres achieved through music.
The musician, composer, and producer Leonardo Segovia, will take the baton to present his personal project Laiv. During his stay at the SIT, he will work on building new sound spaces that speak of his internal states, movement, and his perception of space.
Electronic music has always attracted Leonardo Segovia, due to the freedom it offers when exploring sounds, textures, and emotions.
His pieces transition between introspection and intensity, generating a flow where melodic layers, electronic pulses, and a sensibility open to what emerges in each creative process coexist.
