Concert ‘Las Hespérides: The kings follow the star’ at the Casa de Colón, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The Hispanic Renaissance was a time of musical splendor, where the deepest devotion and popular freshness coexisted. In this concert, Las Hespérides invites us to rediscover that universe through a program that unites the spirituality of Tomás Luis de Victoria and Francisco Guerrero, the festive originality of Mateo Flecha “the Elder”'s ensaladas, and the vitality of the Uppsala Songbook (1556), with its carols full of grace and color.
