Concert — «Los Coquillos» at the Central Building of the University Library, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Travel Tech School by Amadeus in the Central Building of the University Library, the closing ceremony of the exhibition Electric Generation. Canarian Pop Rock from 1960 to 2000, dedicated to rescuing the musical memory of the archipelago and paying tribute to its main protagonists, will take place.

The group Los Coquillos will offer at this event the last of the acoustic concerts scheduled as parallel activities of the exhibition. Los Coquillos, one of the most representative bands in the history of pop and rock in the Canary Islands, have six albums released that marked a milestone in the island's music scene, accumulating various hits, among which their well-known song Borracho hasta el amanecer stands out.
