Concert — «Nuntia a María Magdalena» at the Church of Schamann, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

THE CANARY ISLANDS RELIGIOUS MUSIC FESTIVAL REACHES THE NEIGHBORHOODS.

The Church of Schamann hosts the absolute premiere of «Nuntia a María Magdalena», by Canarian composer Dori Díaz Jerez. The event will feature the participation of the Festival Orchestra and the Ainur Chamber Choir.

This event is part of the program of the XX Canary Islands Religious Music Festival.

Admission is free until the available capacity in the religious venue is reached.

This fourth and final program of the religious musical event in the city includes the performance of «Cristantemi» (Puccini) and «Requiem op. 48» (Fauré), alongside baritone Paul A. Edelmann and the Ainur Chamber Choir. With the objective of the area directed by Josué Íñiguez to support the development of this cultural proposal that promotes bringing music that invites introspection closer to the neighborhoods, the church of Santo Domingo also opened in this twentieth edition, last March 1, for the intervention of the Valencian ensemble expert in ancient music Capella de Ministrers and the Canarian organist Juan Luis Bardón.
