Founded by Ben Watkins, Juno Reactor masterfully fuses avant-garde electronics, tribal percussion, and an audiovisual epic to create intense, physical, and immersive music. This sound, specifically designed to convey tension and resistance, is inseparable from The Matrix cinematic universe, where it signed some of the saga's most iconic pieces.
During the show, the connection between Juno Reactor and the Wachowski sisters« saga will be explored, highlighting iconic pieces such as »Mona Lisa Overdrive«, »Burly Brawl«, and »Navras». Ben Watkins collaborated closely with composer Don Davis to define the sound identity of the Matrix sequels, integrating industrial and trance rhythms with orchestral structures.
