International Congress Digital Dialogues

II International Congress «Digital Dialogues» at Casa África, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Meeting between professional researchers and social agents, it offers a space to reflect on the processes of digital transformation in Africa and Spain from a critical, collaborative and transdisciplinary perspective.

To attend the congress as an audience member, it can be done both in-person (at Casa África) and virtually (through Zoom) and in both cases requires prior registration.

This 2nd edition, which will take place on May 7 and 8, 2026, will represent the consolidation of said congress as an academic and professional meeting space for researchers, professionals and social agents. Under the title Digital Dialogues retains the same motto as the first edition: Social Sciences and Digital Humanities, but focusing on Digital transformation, knowledge dissemination and cultures in connection, with the aim of reflecting on the processes of digital transformation in Africa and Spain from a critical, collaborative and transdisciplinary perspective.

This 2nd edition of the congress is designed to integrate diverse profiles within the academic, scientific and business community, which is why participation is invited from:

• Independent researchers or those affiliated with universities, Think Tanks or research centers
• Entrepreneurs, independent professionals, laboratories, etc. who carry out quality work outside the traditional institutional scope.
• Doctoral candidates, undergraduate and master's students who are developing research work in these areas at any stage of their research.
