San Gregorio Square will host, next Sunday December 14th, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, the 2025 Orange Fair. A day where ten local farms, from different parts of the municipality, will gather to offer visitors the star fruit, and in which, additionally, the corresponding award ceremony will take place for the citrus growers who won this year's previous orange tasting, assigned by expert technicians from the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and the Government of the Canary Islands.

During the event, promoted by the Department of Primary Sector, and which will be enlivened with children's workshops and musical performances, there will also be the presence of other farmers with their quality local products from Saborea Telde, such as wines, oil, olives, gofio, honey, yogurt, avocados and others made with Telde oranges. Among them, jams, marzipan, ice cream, bread or truchas. The Festival Board of the AAVV de La Majadilla will play a fundamental role, offering the star product for tasting, in different versions, with the addition of a chocolate fountain. On the other hand, eight artisans from FEDAC will also display their creations among the attendees.
