This day is for us.
For those of us who have been DJing, producing, organizing, nurturing the scene for a long time, even though the usual narrative keeps creeping in:
“there are no female DJs”.

Yes, there are. And not only are there: they sustain themselves, they seek each other out, they create their own paths and open spaces where there were none before.
The thing is that many times they don't book us, they don't mention us, or they make us feel like we have to ask for permission to enter.
Well, no. Here, we don't ask for permission. Here, we build. ✊💿

Before the sets, we take some time to be together: to converse, to recognize each other, and to create a comfortable and free space. 🌿💜
