Festival — Rumbacan 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

RUMBACAN 2026. From July 3 to 5, an event dedicated to Afro-Cuban rumba, dance, and percussion arrives in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Open rumba, clinic, show, Afro-Cuban dance and percussion classes.

From Poland, Machito visits us, a renowned Cuban percussionist and rumbero, a member of the group Osain del monte, who will be sharing special classes and a musical clinic with us.

From Argentina, Camila Moya arrives, an incredible dancer and excellent teacher, highlighting her quality within the guaguancó festival of this edition.

Along with Mario Acea, professor and dancer, director of the Okokan group residing on the island, representing the essence and tradition of the island.

Saturday 4

13:00 h – Special Rumba Yambú and Guaguancó Percussion Class with Machito (Duration: 3 hours).

16:00 h – Yambú and Guaguancó Dance (Duration: 2 hours).

Sunday 5

13:00 h – Special Columbia and Guarapachangeo Percussion Class with Machito (Duration: 3 hours).

16:00 h – Columbia and Guarapachangueo Dance (Duration: 2 hours).

18:00 h – Farewell Rumbón.
