Festivities – Marmolejo – Gáldar 14 February

Program of the Festivities of Our Lady of Lourdes in Marmolejo, Gáldar, Gran Canaria, for February 14:

• 6:30 PM. La Rama (The Branch). Starting from Majadillas, and accompanied by the neighborhood's "papagüevos" (big-headed figures) and the Las Nieves Agaete band, it will go through Fernández de Lugo, Marmolejo, Pío XII up to the El Palomar crossroads. From there, and after collecting the branch, we will return dancing to the court, ending at the Javi Álamo court.
• Afterwards, Great Canarian Sancocho, where you can taste hard-boiled eggs, salted fish, "papas arrugadas" (wrinkled potatoes) and "pellas de gofio" (gofio balls), washed down with Viejo Antón wine and Arehucas Rum.
  (Please come wearing a blue t-shirt).
• Neighborhood court (Javi Álamo)
  9:00 PM. Entertainment by Romi Rick and closing of the night with a fireworks display by Pirotecnia San Miguel company at 12:00 AM.
