Opening – Exhibition «Rhetoric and Portrait»

Opening of the exhibition «Rhetoric and portrait» by Carmelo Sangó in the Lola Massieu Hall, Santa Brígida.

The Santa Brígida Town Council, through the Department of Culture, invites citizens to visit the artist's work Carmelo Sangó Rhetoric and Portrait at the Lola Massieu Room, whose opening ceremony will take place on Friday, January 10 at 7:00 p.m.

This is one of the artist's most personal projects. In “Rhetoric and Portrait”, Sangó proposes a pictorial journey where the portrait transcends the merely figurative to dialogue with the rhetorical figures of language, inviting the viewer to reflect on identity, time, and the symbolic construction of the image.

This exhibition has been presented in different municipalities of Gran Canaria and has had great interaction with the public and with educational centers.

The exhibition can be visited from January 10 to 24.
