Children – Family Visit

Children's activity: visit – family workshop «Story Illustration» at the Museo Canario, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The Museo Canario offers you, as part of its Family Visits program, a story illustration workshop that will be led by illustrator Mélani Garzón-Sousa. Images are an essential part of a story; they awaken the interest of the little ones, but above all they help them understand the story and immerse themselves in it.

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to discover firsthand the details of this work (what elements are drawn, how characters are characterized, what colors are used…) and will experiment with illustrating short texts. The activity, which has the collaboration of SPAR Gran Canaria, is aimed at families with children aged 7 and over.
