V Conference on Sugar Mills in Telde, Gran Canaria, by Turcón Ecología and Participa Gran Canaria.
From February 7 to 11, Telde hosts a new edition of these conferences that focus on Los Picachos, a key enclave of the historical and archaeological heritage of Gran Canaria, and on the footprint of the sugar mills in our identity.
What awaits you?
- February 7 at 9:00h – 👣 Guided route and hiking through Los Picachos. (4km, low level)
- February 10 at 18h – 🏛️ Presentation of the conferences and exhibition of archaeological works at the León y Castillo House Museum.
- February 11 at 18h – 🎥 Documentary on the revaluation of the heritage of the Southeast at the León y Castillo House Museum.
- February 11 at 19h 🤍 Tribute to Don Rafael Sánchez Valerón “Feluco”
