Youth – «Indoor Climbing (Climbing World)»
Youth Sports — Indoor Climbing at CLIMBING WORLD, Agüimes, Gran Canaria.
Do you want to enjoy sports in a different way? Do you want to exercise while enjoying a dynamic, fun, and unique atmosphere? With Climbing World Gran Canaria, you will have the opportunity to learn to enjoy sports through climbing.
Learn the basic knowledge to climb autonomously and safely in a climbing gym: indoor climbing gestures and dynamics, learning to fall and belay, safety knots and rope belaying, both in top-rope and lead climbing.
Date and time: May 9th. From 12:00 to 14:00h.
Transportation: this activity includes transportation. Departures will be as follows:
– From the Municipal Pool Parking Lot, in Agüimes. At 10:30 AM.
– From the bus stop, in front of the Church, at the Cruce de Arinaga. At 10:45 AM.
– From the Urban Park Parking Lot (Old Bambino), in Playa de Arinaga. At 11:00 AM.
You must indicate the departure point that is most convenient for each user prior to registering for the event, by answering the question in the event details.
Fee: activities are free, with each activity having an eco-contribution (ecological action during the activity: this may include waste cleanup, waste separation, use of trash cans, etc.).
Requirements: young people aged 14 to 30 can participate, with priority given to residents of the municipality of Agüimes. These ages must be met within the calendar year.
It is essential to be registered on the website to sign up for activities! We recommend that if you are not registered on the website, you complete that step in advance.
The submission of this form does not imply direct assignment of a spot. Once the pre-registration period has ended, the staff from the Youth Department of the Agüimes City Council, after processing the data received and verifying that all pre-registrations have been completed correctly and on time, will contact those who have secured a spot. The criterion for assigning spots will be the order in which applications are received, with preference given to residents of the municipality of Agüimes.
