In an archipelago where opportunities seem to pass as slowly as bus 91, Meryem, a young woman in her twenties, tries to find her place between working at Supersaurio and the expectations the world imposes on her. Canarian by birth and Moroccan by roots, her life is a constant search for identity and belonging. Fan-fiction, disastrous dates, excessive coffee, and an incessant routine make up the daily life of a protagonist trapped in the generational gap, job insecurity, and mass tourism. Directed by Rosa Escrig and with dramaturgy by Luis O’malley, this musical is an electro-pop explosion with music by Nacho Martín and lyrics that combine irony, social criticism, and acid humor. A generational mirror that denounces the contradictions of a society that promises success but delivers precarity, in a production by Ángulo Producciones that represents a cry of resistance against the routine that drowns dreams.
