Movie – THE GORILLA

Film screening by the CANARIAN FILM LIBRARY – THE GORILLA at the Guiniguada Theater, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
As part of the cycle Those Good Monsters, Filmoteca Canaria presents the screening of “The Gorilla” (1940), directed by William Nigh and starring Boris Karloff. The film tells the story of a scientist who discovers the cure for polio but needs human spinal fluids as raw material. The appearance of a wild gorilla gives him the opportunity to disguise himself to obtain his raw material without raising suspicion.
