Performance — Transmutation IV in Santa Ana Square, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Valencian creators Art al Quadrat activate the performance Transmutation IV which begins in Santa Ana Square.

The performance proposes, based on documents safeguarded by the Provincial Historical Archive of Las Palmas, a transmutation of pejorative words towards the LGTB collective during the Franco dictatorship into terms that represent the collective struggle for rights and sexual freedom, currently prohibited by the Trump government in the United States.

It is thus made clear that the past and the present are not so far apart and that we must continue fighting against new fascisms that threaten the progress achieved.

Performance location: Santa Ana Square, 4 and route along San Marcial street until reaching San Antonio Abad.
