Poetry — Final Act of Poetry Days in Santa Ana Square, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The Poetry Days Festival culminates with a final act open to the public, conceived as a collective celebration of the word, a meeting point where poetry, music, image, and city intertwine.
The event will bring together different artistic proposals such as a poetic exhibition by Vivien Déniz; the reading of the Manifesto for World Poetry Day; readings by Laura Sam and a recital with a live band in which the winning proposal of the Poetry Slam will be invited to improvise.
As a grand finale, selected videopoems will be screened in collaboration with Maldito Festival, highlighting works such as Diving Into The Wreck by Adrienne Rich and Talegazo by Gran Canarian Dailos Vega.
