Presentation – Book on pottery from La Atalaya

11 March @ 18:00

The La Atalaya Pottery Center will host next March 11, at 6:00 p.m., the presentation of the book Rescue and Reproduction of Traditional Pottery Pieces from La Atalaya de Santa Brígida, Gran Canaria, by researcher and artisan Gustavo Rivera Vega. .

The event will be attended by Minerva Alonso, Councilor for Economic Development, Industry, Commerce and Crafts of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria; José Armengol, mayor of Santa Brígida; and Avelina Fernández, Councilor for Cultural and Historical Heritage of the municipality.

The book delves into the study of one of the most representative pottery centers in the Canary Islands, contributing to the preservation and dissemination of an artisanal heritage closely linked to the cultural identity of the municipality.
