Presentation of the magazine ‘El Pajar, Canary Ethnography Notebooks’ dedicated to ‘Orality and Oral Tradition’.

This edition aims to highlight the value of orality and oral tradition, which for centuries have been the main forms of transmitting popular knowledge. It is not just about preserving stories or data, but about recognizing that in that spoken, shared, and repeated word, our collective identity is also built, our way of understanding the world, the environment we inhabit, and the relationships that define us as a community.
