Hiking – Northwest of Gran Canaria, organized by the Valleseco City Council.

. The itinerary runs through enclaves of high landscape and heritage value such as Risco Caído, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Los Pérez dam, El Hornillo, Sao and El Valle

. The hiking route will take place on December 27 and will have an approximate distance of 13.6 kilometers

. After the autumn rains, the route allows you to enjoy one of the moments of greatest splendor of the monteverde and the traditional agricultural landscapes of northern Gran Canaria.

The route will start in Juncalillo and end in the municipality of Agaete, crossing areas of great landscape, historical and ethnographic value such as Risco Caído, the Los Pérez dam, El Hornillo, Sao and El Valle. It is a downhill itinerary that presents a certain demand on the joints, but whose effort is amply rewarded by the natural and cultural richness that surrounds the entire journey.

The route has a medium difficulty, an estimated duration of seven hours and a registration fee of 8 euros. Registrations can be formalized at the Tourist Office, located in the Ethnographic Museum–Interpretation Center “MECIV”, or by phone 928 61 80 32.
