Hiking – Route through Veneguera, Mogán, Gran Canaria, with Turcón-Ecologistas en Acción.
The Turcón–Ecologistas en Acción Collective has scheduled a hiking activity for this Sunday in Veneguera (Mogán) as part of the association's annual program for 2026.
The route will have an approximate length of eight kilometers and a medium-high difficulty level, according to the organization's classification. The meeting point has been set at Franchy Roca Park at 9:00 AM. The itinerary will pass through the area known as Los Azulejos, a geological formation composed of pyroclastic materials from the edge of the Tejeda Caldera, with an estimated age of 14.1 million years.
The organization recommends coming with appropriate equipment, bringing enough water, and following the guides' instructions during the activity. It also notes that the route is included in its annual program of activities for 2026.
The initiative has the collaboration of the Department of Citizen Participation of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and the General Directorate of Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Government of the Canary Islands, as stated in the event documentation.
Participation requires prior registration, which must be formalized via email address actividadesturcon@gmail.com . The maximum number of places is 55, with priority for members if that limit is exceeded. The cost of the activity is 12 euros for members and 14 euros for non-members.
