Workshop — 13th Edition Ciberlandia: Education, Robotics and ICT at the Elder Museum, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

FINAL EVENT: Smart Agriculture

In this edition, primary and secondary school students will have the mission of implementing a smart agriculture system. To do this, they must cooperate in such a way that the resources necessary for crop care - seeds, insecticides, and water - are collected from the dispensing platforms and transported to the cultivation plots, coordinating at all times the navigation of the primary robots with the dynamic construction of the circuit by the secondary teams.

Primary challenge

16 primary school students will be in charge of collecting resources from the dispensing platforms and transporting them to the cultivation plots. Each unit will receive, through the application, instructions on which resource to collect (seeds, insecticide, or water) and to which cultivation plot to transport it. Each unit will communicate its destination to the secondary teams, so that they can build the appropriate path by moving the direction platforms.

Secondary challenge

16 secondary school students will be in charge of listening to the primary units' indications about their destination and will move the direction platforms to build the appropriate path for them. They will have to coordinate platform movements among themselves so that several robots can circulate simultaneously without conflicts.
