Alberto Mateo is a Spanish actor, a graduate of the Valladolid School of Dramatic Art. Expanding his training with professionals of the caliber of Andrés Lima, Iciar Bollaín, Paco Pino, Macarena Pombo, Cesc Gay, Eva Leire, Yolanda Serrano, etc.

In theater in Spain, he has worked as an actor in El caballero de Olmedo for the National Classical Theater Company, La barraca de Colón for Teatro Corsario (MAX Award 2007), La Corte del faraón Palau de les Arts de Valencia, or Much Ado About Nothing to name just a few. He arrived in the United States for his well-known character MALA SUERTE and worked for the last 10 years, starring in several successful plays such as Taxi, Archimedes' Principle, Nerium Park, Orgasms, or Nobody Knows You Like Me.

On Spanish Television, he debuted in Hospital Central. Participating in numerous successful series such as Isabel, Aquí no hay quien viva, Amar en tiempos revueltos, Bandolera, and a long etcetera. His latest work has been in the series La cocinera de Castamar for Netflix and Antena3. In the United States, he is currently filming La mujer de mi vida for Telemundo.
