Workshop – In my Town at the Municipal Senior Citizens' Club of Santa Brígida, Gran Canaria.

The Senior Citizens» Club organizes an interesting and innovative project, » In my town» , thanks to CIBERVOLUNTARIOS, with the support of the GOVERNMENT OF THE CANARY ISLANDS, a course where seniors will learn to use their mobile phones to tell and share the history, culture, and traditions of their town, SANTA BRÍGIDA.

They will learn to create videos where they can tell and share their local experiences and traditions, to foster intergenerational exchange, so that younger people learn values and stories from older people, and that they remain alive through ICT.

It will consist of two modules:

1- Participants will share personal stories and anecdotes, and will be taught how to use video-making applications, adapting to each person's experience level.

2- They will learn to tell their personal stories and the cultural and traditional richness of their town through the creation of a video, using the digital tools learned.

The workshop will be held on Tuesdays, November 18 and 25.

Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Free.

Aimed at : members of the senior citizens' club and the general public.
