Workshop — Introduction to Experimental Animation at Barbecho Creative Laboratory, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
From preparing the images and material for our animated canvas to tinkering with paint, collage, and editing. In this practical workshop, we will explore the mixed-media video technique, blending photography, video, and painting.
We will learn the basic fundamentals for producing this characteristic visual style using accessible and some professional tools. We will focus especially on the process of designing and building the animation. From painting to collage, we will play with different techniques to create moving art.
No prior experience needed
The objective is to dare to experiment with new formats and open new lines of experimentation. We want to explore by mixing technique and art.
