Workshop — «Hands-on: family art»
Workshop — «Hands-on: family art» of Family Saturdays at the Castillo de la Luz, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Through the exploration of shapes, colors, textures, and compositions, families will discover the expressive possibilities of collage as a tool to build new images from the combination of diverse elements.
Taking Martín Chirino's creative spirit as a reference, we will work on the idea of joining pieces to give shape to something new, understanding art as a shared process where every contribution adds up.
In order to awaken and foster the enjoyment of the little ones through artistic and educational experiences, The Martín Chirino Foundation develops intergenerational activities to foster a shared family connection channel and always from enjoyment.
Family Saturdays is a common space aimed at a family and children's audience in which all participants jointly discover the work of sculptor Martín Chirino, as well as the secrets, historical curiosities, and richness of the walls and installations that make up the Castillo de la Luz, through a guided tour of the Foundation's permanent collection.
The maximum number of places is 25 people and these are activities aimed at children aged 5 and over, with their families.
The cost of 6 euros per participant includes admission to the Castillo de La Luz, exhibitions, workshop, and materials.
