Workshop – A Port of Light and Magic
Workshop ‘A Port of Light and Magic’ at the León y Castillo House-Museum, Telde, Gran Canaria.
This workshop, created by visual artist Vesna González Diez, aims to introduce children to the figure of Juan de León y Castillo, engineer creator of the Port of La Luz, and to the importance of this port as a point of entry for dreams and illusions, represented by the annual arrival of the Three Wise Men.
For 3 days, participants will learn in a playful and creative way the history of the port and its creator, while creating a large collective mural that captures this symbolic journey from ingenuity to Christmas magic.
The workshop aims to introduce children to the figure of Juan de León y Castillo.
Free activity aimed at Primary and Secondary school students.
