Theater — 2nd Amateur Theater Festival Círculo en Escena 2026 at the Círculo Mercantil Theater, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

From March 22 to 27, 2026, the public will be able to enjoy different theatrical performances at the headquarters of the Círculo Mercantil, located at Calle San Bernardo 8, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. For six days, the Círculo's stage will be filled with stories, characters, and scenic proposals presented by eight participating theater groups.

The festival brings together works of different styles within contemporary and amateur theater, offering a cultural program open to the public and designed to bring theater closer to the city.

Sunday, March 22 – Opening (6:30 p.m.)

Festival opening ceremony with the presentation of all participating groups and credential delivery.
Special performance by the Círculo Mercantil's Adolescent Theater Workshop with the play “Por Burle-Tías”.

Monday, March 23

6:30 p.m. – EA Theater Company presents “Sin Ataduras”
8:00 p.m. – The Teatrando group presents “Derribando Muros”

Tuesday, March 24

Wednesday, March 25

17:00 hours – Jinamarte Theater presents “The well-kept secret”

6:30 p.m. – Cía. Musaraña presents “Podridos”
8:00 p.m. – Sirimiri Teatro presents “Carpe Diem”

Thursday March 26

17:00 hours – T.A.T.A. Theater presents “Perhaps it's too much”

6:30 p.m. – Amar Teatro Amateur Theater presents “Chekhov and Ana”
8:00 p.m. – Cía. Anda que Anda presents “The Bookstore of Souls”

Friday March 27 – Closing (7:00 p.m.)

Festival closing act with jury evaluation and awards ceremony.
Special performance by the Círculo Mercantil Theater Company with the play “A Ca’ Karla y Katy”.

Public: €4 per day Admission as an Adherent Member.
Círculo Mercantil Members: free admission
