Three women marked by their relationship with the
deceased. In the wake room, only occupied by a coffin, each character embodies a goal: ambition, jealousy, revenge. As time passes
the conversations reveal secrets, hidden wounds, and entrenched resentments.
The dense atmosphere turns to black humor, as the characters advance and discover the unexpected within and outside of themselves. “Red Chrysanthemums” is a journey to
freedom through the passions of Isabel, Lily, and Berta.
