Family Theater – «Superhero» in Santa Brígida
The Cultural Center of Santa Brígida, Gran Canaria, will host next Saturday, April 18, at 6:00 p.m., the performance of Superhéroe, a family theater show by the company El Perro Azul Teatro, recognized for its innovative combination of masks, puppets, and acting work.
The play, directed by Jorge Padín and performed by Fernando Moreno, proposes a fantastic story in which a single actor brings five characters to life on stage, in a highly virtuous scenic exercise.
Superhéroe narrates the adventure of a young man who, after losing the light of his home, embarks on a journey full of imagination and challenges to recover it. Through this story, the show invites reflection on identity, personal growth, and each person's ability to find their own inner power.
With an approximate duration of 55 minutes and recommended for family audiences from 6-7 years old, the production stands out for its meticulous staging, original music, and a puppet manipulation technique that has been recognized at festivals such as FETEN, where it won awards in its 2015 edition.
This cultural proposal is part of the programming of the Department of Culture, directed by Avelina Fernández Manrique de Lara, aimed at promoting access to performing arts for all audiences, offering a theatrical experience that combines emotion, imagination, and artistic quality.
