On the occasion of the first centenary of Alonso Quesada's death, we delve into the heritage collections of the Island Library of Gran Canaria. The critical, ironic, sensitive, and deeply poetic word of this author remains latent in the collections of his work that this institution treasures, preserves, and safeguards.

Through the guided tour, this heritage legacy comes to life by being showcased through a carefully curated documentary selection that highlights not only the relevance and quality of the work, but also the tasks that the specialized staff of the Island Library performs for its preservation, restoration, and dissemination.
This tour is further enriched by offering the opportunity to discover other documentary treasures of the island's heritage, such as the Fernando González Collection or the Orleáns Collection. A unique selection displayed in a symbolic and little-known space: the library tower, a true beacon of memory over the city's historic center.
