Would you like to leave a positive mark on the natural spaces of the island of Gran Canaria? Do you want to be part of a collective action that helps protect our environment and build a more sustainable future for the island?
We invite you to participate in an environmental volunteering day in the municipality of Vega de San Mateo, a unique enclave where agricultural tradition and the biodiversity of the mid-altitude areas go hand in hand. This place, characterized by its landscape, fertile soils, and a close historical relationship with the rural environment, plays a fundamental role in the conservation of biodiversity and the ecological balance of the island. During the day, we will carry out reforestation work with endemic and native species, as well as land conditioning. These tasks not only beautify the landscape but are vital for restoring degraded soils, optimizing water retention, and curbing erosion.
