Activities – «Release of a loggerhead sea turtle»
Activities — Release of a loggerhead sea turtle on Melenara Beach, Telde, Gran Canaria.
Today we celebrate Sea Turtle Day and we can't think of a better way to do it than by announcing a very special event. This Saturday the 20th at 9:30 am you have the opportunity to attend the release of a loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) which, after being rescued and recovered, is ready to return to the sea.
An exciting moment to see it up close and understand that behind each release there is a lot of effort and care to offer a second chance to our wildlife. It will be an activity as educational as it is inspiring, ideal for all ages. A perfect occasion to connect with the ocean and remember why it is so important to protect our biodiversity.
Will you come to say goodbye and wish it a good journey?
