Carnival – Burial of the Sardine of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival from the Metropole Swimming Club to Las Canteras Promenade.
The festival concludes with the events revolving around the ‘Burial of the Sardine’, with a final parade dyed black, worn by brazen widows and scandalous mourners. They, the court, the authorities, and the world of Carnival mourn the death of the fish and accompany it to Las Canteras beach, where it is burned, marking the end of this edition of the festival.
