Carnival – Carnival Tuesday | Children's parade of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival.

The events of the ‘Children's Carnival’ are numerous in a program that reserves for them the election of their regent, parade and costume contests, in addition to the participation of children's comparsas and murgas in gatherings and other calendar events. These groups also have an agenda that takes them to perform in different parts of the city, as also happens with their adult counterparts. Among others, their participation in the children's parade, the confirmation of their commitment to the Carnival in this multitudinous gathering where the little masqueraders take to the city streets this year on the festive day of Carnival Tuesday.

Since the 2016 edition, the ‘Daytime Carnival’ has a designated day on Carnival Tuesday with an open-air party, to which, given the overwhelming success of the call and public demand, other dates have been added in each program.

Thousands of masqueraders attend the concerts scheduled on different stages, with music for all tastes. The festival thus caters to all audiences, preferences, and schedules, while allowing it to reach an increasingly large number of citizens and visitors. These are days to enjoy the most popular and spontaneous spirit of Carnival with family in a healthy environment.
