Traditional Carnival La Aldea

Traditional Carnival 2026 in La Aldea de San Nicolás, Gran Canaria.

Next Tuesday, February 17, our municipality will once again celebrate one of its most unique cultural manifestations: the Traditional Carnival of La Aldea de San Nicolás, a living expression of our roots and our collective identity.

The program will begin at 5:00 PM with the meeting at the Museo de La Gañanía; at 6:30 PM, the procession through the streets of the old town will take place; and at 7:30 PM, the Masquerade Ball with La Parrandita in the Plaza de La Alameda.

We invite all people from the municipality, and especially neighborhood, cultural, and social groups, to actively participate and join this celebration that unites us as a community.
