Talk — African Literature with Mohamed El Morabet and Malika Embarek at Casa África, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Casa África hosts a dialogue-format meeting between the Moroccan writer Mohamed El Morabet and the translator Malika Embarek, on literature, translation, and cultural circulation between both shores. Starting from a key question—Is literature useful today?—they will address topics such as identity, memory, migration, humor, or language, along with the translation process between cultural contexts. The meeting proposes a close and dynamic space, an open conversation with audience participation. An opportunity to reflect on the role of literature and the cultural bridges between Morocco and Spain.
